The first time Imran tried to be an emcee, he was only 9 years old and it didn’t quite work out.
He felt nervous, unsure, and thought maybe emceeing just wasn’t for him.
But two years later, he tried again. This time, after lots of practice (more than 20 times!) mostly in front of his mum instead of a mirror he stood proudly on the YEC 2025 stage.

“I was so happy when Aunty Charisma noticed me,” Imran said.
“She gave me the chance to be an emcee, and I didn’t want to waste it.”
With the full support of his mum, dad, and even his grandmother in the audience, Imran spoke clearly, confidently, and even made the crowd laugh when he thanked his parents.

Meanwhile, Aunty Charisma, who co-hosted the event with Imran, shared:
“It has been such a joy and blessing to witness Imran’s growth this year. He has such a bright spirit, and I’m so proud of how he continues to step forward with confidence and humility.
Seeing him emcee the concert was a beautiful reminder of how much potential our children have when they are trusted and guided with love.
